Starting email for MAC
To configure your IMAP email address, follow these easy steps.First of all, open the program by double clicking the relevant icon. Click the Mail link on the top left hand side of the page and select 'Preferences'.
Click the + button on the bottom left hand side of the page.
You will be asked to enter some parameters. Enter them as shown below:
Select Account Type --> IMAP
Full Name: the sender name you wish to have
Email address: your complete email address, such as: mail@nomedominio.ext
After entering the parameters as indicated, click continue.
Properties
On the next page you will have to enter parameters related to your incoming and outgoing mail server, user name and password. Follow the instructions below
Incoming mail server: pop.nomedominio.ext
User name: your complete email address, such as: mail@nomedominio.ext
Password: your mailbox password

After entering these parameters, click Continue.
On the next page you will have to set up the SMTP server. First of all, you will have to specify the provider's name you connect through. If you don't know this parameter, you will have to ask your provider before completing the configuration procedure.
Click continue and the summary page will open. Make sure that all the data you have entered is correct and click the 'Finish' button to complete the configuration procedure.
